Dhaka, May 30: Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP convenor and former MP Aman Ullah Aman and his wife Sabera Aman and the party's standing committee member Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku have dismissed the appeal filed by the lower court in the case filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC). The High Court upheld the sentence of the court.
BNP leader Chand remanded for 3 more days
Dhaka, May 30: Rajshahi district BNP convener Abu Saeed Chand, accused in the case of threatening to kill Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, has been remanded by the court for another three days. After the 5-day remand on Tuesday around 12 noon, Chand was taken to the police court and asked for a 10-day remand. Rajshahi District and Sessions Judge Judicial Magistrate Court Judge Mahbub Alam granted a three-day remand.

159 Covid-19 cases detected in one day
Dhaka, May 30: In the last 24 hours, 159 cases of coronavirus have been detected in Bangladesh.
