Parliamentary Activities 27 officers of Jatiya Sangsad participated in the seminar on parliamentary activities in New Delhi
Dhaka, July 18: Twenty-seven officials including the senior secretaries of Bangladesh National Parliament Secretariat participated in a seminar in New Delhi, India on the issues of parliamentary committee procedure, law making process, budget passing procedure, etc.
A seminar titled 'Supporting the Implementation of the PFS Reform Strategic Plan in Bangladesh' was held in New Delhi, India on Monday.
Twenty-seven officials including Md. Saleh Uddin, MA Kamal Billah, Joint Secretary Md. Rafiqul Islam, Md. Tariq Mahmud, Md. Nazmul Haque, Dr. Khandkar Golam Moazzem, led by Senior Secretary of Bangladesh National Parliament Secretariat KM Abdus Salam. took part
Dr. Sasmit Patra, Member of Parliament of Rajya Sabha of India inaugurated the seminar and spoke. He discussed seminars on Indian Parliamentary Committee Procedures and Bills. He commented that the role of National Parliament needs to be strengthened to consolidate democracy. Then Dr. Sasmit Patra MP answered various questions in the question and answer session.
Indian Lok Sabha Secretariat Joint Secretary Vinay Kumar Mohan, Rina Gopal Krishna and Director Dr. Ram Raj Rai discussed the Parliamentary Committee Procedure, Legislation Procedure, Budget Passing Procedure etc. in the seminar.
