Own Correspondent, Dhaka, 28 September 2023: Today, Thursday 28 September, a three-day holiday begins. After Eid Miladunnabi, government officials and employees are getting three days off in total, two days weekly holiday.

Miladunnabi holiday on Thursday. Then Friday and Saturday (September 29 and 30) are two days off. Therefore, from Thursday to next Saturday (September 28-30), government employees will spend three consecutive days off.

Many people are going to visit the village house on the occasion of three days holiday. It is known that many people go home after office on Wednesday. After the three-day holiday, government officials and employees will go to work next Sunday (October 1).

After Wednesday afternoon, the bus, train and launch stations of the capital may be a little more crowded than usual. Those associated with road transport said that all bus tickets for Wednesday night have already been sold.

Mohammad Ali, who sells bus tickets to various destinations in Syedabad, said that the rush of passengers, which is usually on Thursday, is happening on Wednesday due to the three-day holiday. All Wednesday night bus tickets for various destinations are already sold out.

Passengers said that due to high passenger pressure, the fare has also increased slightly. However, the persons on duty at the various bus counters of the Syedabad terminal said that the fare is not being charged more. At other times, the fare is lower than the government fixed fare due to less number of passengers. Now government fixed rent is being charged.
