34 more Covid-19 cases detected in Bangladesh

Dhaka, Jan 27: The number of people affected by corona virus is gradually increasing in the country. Thirty-four new cases of coronavirus have been detected in 24 hours till 4 pm on Friday.

Among them, 32 people live in the capital Dhaka, the remaining two are from Chittagong. However, no one has died due to Corona in the country during this time. And since the beginning of the pandemic, the number of deaths due to corona in the country is 29,481. The number of infected has reached 20 lakh 46 thousand 934.

This information was shared in the regular press release on Corona on Friday January 26 from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

It is also said that in 24 hours across the country, 432 samples were tested in 885 laboratories and 34 people were diagnosed with corona. Among them 32 are from Dhaka and two from Chittagong. The detection rate against the test is 8.70 percent. The total detection rate since the beginning of the epidemic is 13.09 percent.

In 24 hours, 39 people have recovered from Corona. With this, the total number of healthy patients has increased to 20 lakh 14 thousand 303. The recovery rate is 98.41 percent.

On March 8, 2020, the first case of coronavirus was detected in the country. After 10 days on March 18, the DGHS reported the first Covid death.
