4.1 magnitude earthquake shakes Cox's Bazar
Dhaka, February 25: Cox's Bazar was hit by a magnitude 4.1 earthquake. The incident took place on Saturday.
Abdur Rahman, assistant meteorologist of Cox's Bazar Meteorological Office, said that the tremor was felt at 4:39 pm.
He said, the origin of the earthquake was about 377 kilometers south and southeast of Dhaka at 20.9 degree latitude and 92.33 degree longitude of Myanmar.
As a result, a tremor of magnitude 4.1 was felt in Cox's Bazar.
No damage or casualties have been reported so far.
