All elections are equally important: EC Rasheda

EC Rasheda said that voters can cast their votes peacefully in the Gazipur city elections. Overall preparations have been made considering all elections as equally important and not separate challenges. CC cameras are set in the center. Monitoring will be done from morning. Polling will be held on Thursday in fair and beautiful environment.

She said that judicial magistrates will conduct a summary trial on whether the code of conduct is broken or not on the day of the election and what are the irregularities. And that's why she came to Gazipur the day before the election. Urging the voters to come to the center without fear, she said, you (voters) will come to the center without fear and vote in a festive atmosphere.

The Election Commissioner said, I have spoken with the Gazipur Metropolitan Police Commissioner. I told him that the fair environment of the election should not be disturbed in any way. She said, she will ensure a fair environment for the voters. Voters can say, we cast our vote. And in case of violation, you will see what action will be taken against those involved.

Rasheda Sultana also said, if we find any irregularities in the monitoring, then we will definitely take it into account. Gazipur City Election Returning Officer Faridul Islam, Assistant Returning Officer AHM Kamrul Islam, Zakir Hossain and other officials were present.
