Dhaka: All people, who were involved in the communal tensions in Bangladesh, have been identified.

"I have identified all of them. They have been caught by our law enforcement. I will be able to tell you everything about why this happened, inshallah."

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal made the remarks at an exchange of views with the heroic freedom fighters at the Tejgaon College auditorium on Saturday (October 23) evening.

The Home Minister said the Prime Minister said religion is everyone's festival.

"That is what we are following. This is the first time I saw such a scene of attack on Durga Puja. We figured everything out. I have identified all of them. They have been caught by our law enforcement. Inshallah, I will be able to tell you everything about why this happened," he said.

He said, "I want to make one thing clear, this country is a country of non-communal consciousness. The majority of us do it right. In the Qur'an, Priyonabi says, to keep an eye on minorities. They should not suffer from uncertainty. Legal action will be taken against those who conspired. Those who have been identified according to the law will be taken care of. So that such work will not be done in the future."

Addressing the heroic freedom fighters on the occasion, he said, "We fought the war of liberation at the call of the greatest Bengali Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Wherever you are, you will always live with your head held high. Because we freedom fighters are the best children of the nation."

The discussion was presided over by Member of Parliament Vir Muktijoddha Benazir Ahmed. Various unit and upazila commanders of Dhaka West region were present at the time.
