Addressing the judges, he said, "One of the aspects of Bangabandhu's cherished dream of building a golden Bengal is to establish the rule of law and justice." Your role in establishing the rule of law is paramount. As you know, 36 lakh cases are currently pending. Reducing the complexity of this huge case is now the biggest challenge for us. The government has to take various steps to settle the case as soon as possible.

The time of the case has been fixed at different levels by amending the law. In order to produce witnesses at the earliest, the existing summons have been issued two days ago and the date of the case has been informed to the witnesses via SMS on their mobile phones.

"Even in the Covid-19 situation, the government has upheld the people's right to justice by launching virtual courts," said Anisul Haque. "The Tk 2,600 crore e-judiciary project is awaiting ECNEC approval."

The law minister told the judges, "Innovative steps by those of you who have played an important role as judges, along with various initiatives by the government and the Supreme Court, will go a long way in reducing litigation." Judicial working hours, proper implementation, effective case management system, efficient court management, above all, through your leadership, the judiciary can get rid of the burden of the case.
