Dhaka, June 30: On the second day of the holy Eid-ul-Azha, religious Muslims are sacrificing animals according to their capacity all over the country, including the capital, in the hope of receiving the great grace of Almighty Allah. On Friday, June 30, many are sacrificing animals on the second day of Eid. However, this number is much less than the first day.

This morning, many people are performing animal sacrifices on the second day of Eid in different areas of the capital. Some did not sacrifice because of family tradition, while others did not have a butcher on the day of Eid. So they sacrificed today.

Talking to the people who offer sacrifice on the second day, it is known that everyone sacrifices on the first day, so there are various problems including not getting a butcher. For this reason, sacrifice is offered on the second day.

A person who sacrificed today said that there is some problem to sacrifice on the day of Eid. Everyone is busy. As such, the second day is somewhat quiet. Every year I sacrifice on the second day of Eid. I am doing the same this time.

A sacrificer named Munir Hossain said, I sacrifice a goat every year. However, I bought a cow yesterday on the day of Eid. So I didn't sacrifice yesterday. Sacrifice today. This time the cow was bought and the goat was not bought. In fact, many traders were returning with cows yesterday, so when we went to bargain, we bought a cow if we liked it.

Another victim said that it is very difficult to find a butcher on the day of Eid. So he is sacrificing a cow on the second day of Eid without any trouble. And on the second day the cost of butchering is also less. On the day of Eid, every beef is slaughtered where 18 to 20 thousand takas are paid, on the second day 8-10 thousand takas have to be paid. For this reason, there is also the benefit of offering sacrifice on the second day.
