Announcement made to close secondary schools as temperature rises

Dhaka, June 7: After the government primary school, all the secondary level educational institutions of the country have been closed for one day due to the intense violence. These educational institutions will be closed tomorrow Thursday. After that, these educational institutions will be closed for three consecutive days as Friday and Saturday are weekends.

This was informed in a notification signed by Assistant Director of Secondary and Higher Education Department SM Ziaul Haider Henry on Wednesday.

It is said that, in the 'Warning of Heat Wave' published by Bangladesh Meteorological Department, Storm Warning Center, mild, moderate and severe heat waves may continue over the country for the next 5 to 6 days. Due to this heatwave warning, it has been decided to close the class activities of all the secondary level educational institutions of the country on Thursday, June 8.
