Dhaka, March 9: A delegation of the Awami League visited the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery to see the injured patients undergoing treatment in the blast at Siddique Bazar in the capital's Gulistan.

On Wednesday, Awami League leaders visited the burn institute to inquire about the treatment of the patients and spoke to their relatives.

At that time, Awami League's organizing secretary Mirza Azam told reporters that we have come to see the patients on the orders of the Prime Minister. The delegation has given instructions to provide all kinds of assistance to the victims of the accident. He also said that Awami League will stand by them.

In response to a question from journalists whether the government suspects that there may be sabotage activities behind the explosion, the organizational secretary of Awami League said, "We definitely have doubts. Because of a series of events. An incident could have been considered an accident. But similar incidents happened one after another. So it is highly doubtful."

Chief coordinator of the institute Professor Dr. Samanta Lal Sen, organizing secretaries of Awami League Afzal Hossain and Sujit Roy Nandi, health affairs secretary Dr. Rokeya Sultana, department secretary Biplab Barua, and sub-department secretary Sayem Khan were present there.
