Obaidul Quader Awami League not greedy for power, it will be in power only if people want: Obaidul Quader
Own Correspondent, Dhaka, Nov 15: Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said that BNP wants to get back the lost Hawa Bhaban due to the greed of power. He also commented that BNP has weakened itself because of negative politics.
He made this comment at the preparatory meeting of the publicity and publication sub-committee of the party aimed at making the 22nd National Conference of Awami League a success at the party president's political office on Monday (November 14).
'Awami League is jealous of BNP's popularity' - In response to BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir's statement, Obaidul Quader said, "Come to the elections, then we will see who is more popular."
He instructed the party's campaign and publication sub-committee leaders to increase campaigning on Facebook and said that BNP should respond to the way it is spreading misinformation on Facebook. 'There is no democracy in the country' - responding to this complaint of BNP Secretary General, Obaidul Quader said that those who do not practice democracy within the party, how will they establish democracy in the country?
