Besides, importance will be given to industrialization to create employment and attract investment. There will also be a roadmap for building a self-sufficient Bangladesh.

In 2008, Awami League came to power with the dream of building a digital Bangladesh under the title of 'Day Change Charter'. Then in 2014, the party came to power for the second time in a row by promising to implement 10 mega projects under the title 'Bangladesh is moving forward'. Similarly, in 2018, under the title 'Bangladesh on the Progress of Prosperity', a plan was given to build a developed and prosperous Bangladesh by 2041 and a safe delta by 2100.

This year's goal is 'Building Smart Bangladesh'. For this, four basic pillars have been fixed - Smart Citizen, Smart Society, Smart Economy and Smart Government. Awami League's manifesto prepared on the occasion of the 12th National Parliament election contains detailed programs and promises.

Awami League's manifesto this time also has various programs to create a self-sufficient Bangladesh, reduce foreign dependence and stay free from foreign conspiracies.

In this regard, the convener of the Awami League's manifesto drafting committee and the presidium member of the party. Abdur Razzaq said, "We have taken the views of the general public and representatives of civil society in this manifesto. They have said about economic infrastructure, agriculture, education, information technology, power generation, productivity growth, prices of daily necessities, inflation and suffering of people with limited income. We have said these things. They asked me to make it clear how we am going to deal with it."
