Dhaka, Dec 19: Awami League leaders have expressed their determination to build the golden Bengal of the dream of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina by tackling all domestic and foreign conspiracies.

They expressed this conviction at the inaugural function of the procession organized by the Awami League in front of the Institution of Engineers adjacent to Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital on Saturday afternoon.

The Awami League organized a colorful victory procession on the occasion of the golden jubilee of independence and the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The brief assembly started before the procession on the stage built on the open truck on the road in front of the Institute of Engineers adjacent to Suhrawardy Udyan. The rally was presided over by Amir Hossain Amu, a member of the Awami League's advisory council and coordinator and spokesperson of the central 14 parties.

The speakers said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has established Bangladesh as a seat of dignity in the world court. The conspiracy against Bangladesh has not stopped. Conspiracies are going on against Bangladesh in various ways at home and abroad. Today, we swear that we will move forward by confronting all undemocratic and communal forces politically.

Awami League presidium member Begum Matia Chowdhury, said. Abdur Razzak, Jahangir Kabir Nanak, Abdur Rahman and AHM Khairuzzaman Liton, Joint General Secretary Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif, Dr. Dipu Moni, Minister of Information and Broadcasting. Hasan Mahmud spoke.

Amir Hossain Amu, a member of the Awami League's advisory council, said there was a conspiracy to end the independence of the country by assassinating Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. But I am able to celebrate that independence under the leadership of his daughter Sheikh Hasina through various journeys. Bangabandhu was tortured for 13 and a half years out of 23 years for this independence. He united the liberated nation by singing the praises of the life of the people of Bengal by being accused of hanging twice.

Amir Hossain Amu said that when the Bengali nation was united under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina, repeated attempts were made to kill her. Like Bangabandhu, he has embraced death and moved forward. Sheikh Hasina, a 19-time death row passenger, has completed that unfinished work of Bangabandhu as she is alive. Today, under his leadership, the Bengali nation has emerged in the world as a prosperous nation, as a role model for development.
