Dhaka, 28 May 2023 : Meet Kishore Abu Bakkar Riasad Rayyan (16) from Narayanganj region Bangladesh.

A man named Al-Amin was his tutor. In March 2022, Ryan left home motivated by militancy by the tutor's words.

Al-Amin instigated him into the new militant organization Jamatul Ansar Fil Hindal Sharqiya for training.

In mid-September last year, Ronny Mia took one Ryan to Bandarban for training in the hills under his guidance. Ryan never returned home after that.

Not only Ryan, 55 teenagers from different parts of the country left their homes for two years due to militancy. Several of them were arrested by RAB and the Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit. But many are still missing.

Missing teenager Abu Bakr Riyasad Rayyan has been in hiding for over a year but recently called home.

Only 41 seconds of talking on the phone with his father. At this time Ryan informed about surrender. But the number from which called is now closed.

According to intelligence agencies, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) found 55 people who have been homeless for two years due to militancy. Elite force RAB also published a list of 38 of them on October 10 last year. Among the missing youth, the name of a teenager named Abu Bakkar Riyasad Rayyan of Narayanganj comes up.

Ryan was involved in militancy through tutor Al-Amin. Not only Ryan, his mother Ambia Sultana Emilio got involved in militancy through the tutor.

Emily used to work as a cabin crew in a reputed airline in the country. Emily regrets having gone astray from a nice and safe life. Later, on November 9 last year, he pleaded with a tearful voice to get back his son who was motivated to go to the mountains for militant training.

The RAB says the missing persons are trained under the umbrella of the Kuki-Chin National Front (KNF), a mountain militant outfit in the mountainous region. They stayed there in the name of the new militant organization. The missing are trained in bomb making. Adolescents are trained to participate in various armed struggles.
