Coronavirus has claimed the lives of 18 more people in the last 24 hours in the country.

Among them 14 are males and four are females. A total of five thousand 699 people died from the virus. In the last 24 hours, 1,360 new patients have been identified as infected with corona. As a result, the total number of identified patients in the country stood at three lakh 91 thousand 57 people. Besides, another 1,542 people recovered yesterday. With this, the total number of healthy patients stood at three lakh seven thousand 741 people.

In addition to the number of dead and newly identified patients, 13,060 samples were collected and 13,611 samples were tested in 110 laboratories in the last 24 hours to detect coronavirus. So far, the total number of sample tests is 21 lakh 92 thousand 325.

In the last 24 hours, the patient identification rate is 10.14 percent as compared to the sample test and so far the patient identification rate is 16.7 percent compared to the sample test. The recovery rate is 8.44 percent and the mortality rate is 1.47 percent compared to the patient identified.

So far, 4,365 males (8.94 percent) and 1,314 females (23.07 percent) have died in Corona. The age-based analysis showed that of the 18 people who died in Corona in the last 24 hours, two were in their forties, five in their fifties and 11 in their sixties.
