Dhaka, July 19: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that when Awami League comes to power, it works to change the fate of the people. That is why Bangladesh has now qualified to keep pace with the world. She said this while speaking as the chief guest at the signing of the annual performance agreement for the fiscal year 2023-2024 and the APA and Purity Award ceremony held at the Prime Minister's Office on Wednesday, July 19.

The prime minister said, "This annual performance agreement is to ensure accountability. This approach is taken from the thought that the ministries should be in touch with me. You (Secretary) are working hard, and you are getting the results."

She said, "We have geographical limitations. The population of the country is also very high. If we move forward with self-esteem and self-esteem, we can achieve the impossible. Our goal is to build a developed Bangladesh by 2041. We must move forward with that goal now."

The head of government said, "I said in 2008 that I will build a digital Bangladesh, I did it. I have electrified 100%. The implementation of the developing country will start from 2026. As a result of the Russia-Ukraine war, inflation has increased, pressure on the economy. However, our economy is dynamic compared to other countries."

Pointing out that the condition of people in the grassroots has changed, Sheikh Hasina said, "Manga images are no longer seen. We have improved in the field of communication. It is our goal to improve the quality of life of people."
