Bangladesh is the best country for communal harmony: Assistant High Commissioner of India
Dhaka, January 28: India's Assistant High Commissioner (Rajshahi) Manoj Kumar said that Bangladesh is the best country for communal harmony. He said this at the distribution ceremony of winter clothes among traditional communities in Joypurhat.
The Assistant High Commissioner said these things as the chief guest at the distribution ceremony of winter clothes at the premises of Joypurhat Shiv Mandir on Friday. Joypurhat Sanatan Parivar organizes the distribution of winter clothes.
He also said that the people of India felt proud to be on the side of the people during the liberation war of Bangladesh. India is always working alongside Bangladesh to maintain good relations and communal harmony between the two countries.
At the end of the discussion, blankets were distributed as winter clothes among hundreds of helpless and distressed Sanatan community men and women. Later, the Assistant High Commissioner of India attended another function organized at the central Barwari temple premises. There he also distributed blankets among the helpless and distressed people of the Hindu community.
