Bangladesh-Japan Bangladesh-Japan relations reach extraordinary heights in 50 years
Dhaka, May 12: Referring to Japan as a very important partner of Bangladesh, State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain said, "Since independence, Japan has been by our side as a true friend."
The state minister said this in the speech of the chief guest at the opening ceremony of the 'Improvement of Governance and Management Research and Training Facilities' project organized by Bangladesh Institute of Governance and Management (BIGM) at a hotel in Dhaka on Wednesday.
Farhad Hossain said, "In the last 50 years, the relationship between Bangladesh and Japan has reached an extraordinary height. Japan's cooperation in various fields including socio-economic, energy and electricity of the country is highly commendable."
The State Minister expressed hope that this cooperation of Japan will continue in the future.
Aiwama Kiminori, Ambassador of Japan to Bangladesh, spoke on the occasion as the guest of honor under the chairmanship of Director of BIGM, Dr Mohammad Tarek.
