Dhaka, October 16: The rate of identification of coronavirus patients has decreased for 25 consecutive days across the country. The death toll has also dropped. In addition, the admission of coronavirus patients in public and private hospitals has decreased. Demand for this specialty has grown significantly as a result of recent corporate scandals.

According to health and pathology experts, if a country has a detection rate of five percent or less in four consecutive weeks of sample testing, the country may be considered risk-free of coronavirus infection and death. As such, at present Bangladesh is close to being free from the risk of coronavirus infection and death!

According to the Health Emergency Operations Center and Control Room of the Directorate of Health Services, from September 20 to October 14, that is, for 25 consecutive days, the rate of coronavirus infection in the country is 5 percent or less.

According to the statistics, the number of patients identified as coronavirus infected from September 20 to October 14 was 1,562, followed by 1,376 the next day, followed by 1,144, 1,233 and 818. At that time the detection rate was five percent. Then 980, 1,212, 1,310, 1,178 corona patients were identified. At that time the detection rate was four percent.

Apart from these, the rate dropped to three percent while 860, 847, 617, 794, 694, 703, 663 and 645 people were infected. The infection rate further dropped to two percent as 415, 481, 599, 543, 518 and 466 people tested positive in consecutive days.

Meanwhile, the analysis of death statistics has shown that the number and rate of deaths due to the virus have gradually decreased from September 20 to October 14. In one day on September 20, 26 people died due to corona and the death rate was 1.7 percent. Since October 14, the death toll has dropped to seven and the death toll to 1.5 percent.

Meanwhile, with the reduction of coronary infections and deaths, the tendency of people to follow health rules has come down to a great extent. Earlier, masks were seen on people's faces when they went out on the streets, but now many people do not see masks on their faces.
