Dhaka Bangladesh records 20 more deaths due to Dengue
Dhaka, 22 October 2023 : Dengue fever has increased again. 20 people have died of dengue in the last 24 hours till 8 am on Saturday.
With this, the number of dengue deaths this year has increased to 1,246. During this time, 1 thousand 889 dengue patients were admitted to the hospital. On the other hand, 8 thousand 114 dengue patients are currently under treatment in various public and private hospitals of the country including Dhaka.

According to the regular report on dengue signed by Zahidul Islam, 412 residents of Dhaka and 1,477 people from outside Dhaka out of 1,889 people admitted to hospital with dengue from Friday 8 am to Saturday 8 am.
On the other hand, out of 20 people who died in the last 24 hours, 10 are residents of Dhaka, 10 are outside Dhaka.
From January 1 to October 21 this year, a total of two lakh 52 thousand 990 people were affected by dengue throughout the country.
Among them 95 thousand 30 residents of Dhaka and 57 thousand 960 people outside Dhaka.
In 24 hours, 1,758 dengue patients were discharged from the hospital. Among them, 419 people are residents of Dhaka and 1,339 people are outside Dhaka. From January 1 to October 21, 243,630 dengue patients were discharged from the hospital. Among them 91 thousand 922 residents of Dhaka and 1 lakh 51 thousand 708 people outside Dhaka.
