Bangladesh registers two more deaths due to COVID-19

Dhaka: At least two people died due to COVID-19 in Bangladesh in pas 24 hours.

With this, the number of deaths due to corona in the country has increased to 29 thousand 334 people. At the same time, 310 new patients were detected. Since the beginning of the epidemic, the total number of confirmed cases in the country has increased to 20 lakh 14 thousand 887. This information was informed in the regular press release on the corona issue sent by the Department of Health on Sunday (September 11).

Meanwhile, 3 thousand 500 samples were collected and 3 thousand 493 samples were tested in 24 hours from Saturday 8 am to Sunday 8 am in 881 laboratories across the country. So far 1 crore 47 lakh 94 thousand 855 samples have been tested. Compared to the sample test, the detection rate of corona is 8.8.87 percent. Since the beginning of the epidemic, the total detection rate is 13.62 percent.

192 patients recovered within 24 hours. A total of 19 lakh 58 thousand 746 people have recovered.

On March 8, 2020, the first case of coronavirus was detected in the country. After 10 days on March 18, the Department of Health reported the first death of a patient due to Corona.
