Bangladesh will soon get good news on human rights issue

Dhaka, June 29: Foreign Minister Dr. AK Abdul Momen MP commented that Bangladesh will soon get good news on the issue of human rights.

The minister expressed this expectation while talking to reporters after the donation cheque handover programme at his home Hafiz Complex in Sylhet city on Wednesday.

Foreign Minister Momen also said that they are looking into the wrong information presented in the United States on the issue of human rights. He expressed hope that Bangladesh will get some good news in this regard soon.

The foreign minister said that the United States is a friendly country of Bangladesh. They also want the relationship with Bangladesh to be stronger. US President Joe Biden is also interested in strengthening relations with Bangladesh. Therefore, officials from the United States are frequently visiting Bangladesh.

Stating that Bangladesh also believes in balanced foreign policy to develop relations with all countries, the foreign minister said that Bangladesh has become important due to its location. So everyone is respecting Bangladesh now. He sought the cooperation of all quarters to further the ongoing development journey of the current government in Bangladesh under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina.
