Dhaka, 27 November 2022 : Powerful countries can take action if foreign ambassadors do not follow the code of conduct. But due to lack of power, Bangladesh is not able to go that way.

However, the foreign minister has warned that Bangladesh will also take action when the time comes. AK Abdul Momen.

On Saturday (November 26), a day-long 'International Charity Bazaar' was inaugurated by the Foreign Office Spouses Association (Fosa) at the Foreign Service Academy in the capital. Later, in response to a question from journalists, he said these things.

Foreign embassies do not adhere to the Code of Conduct. So Bangladesh is paying attention to what foreigners say? In response to such a question, the foreign minister said that countries like America expelled 20-21 diplomats of Russia on allegations of interference in their last elections. In addition, the United States closed down the sanctions against organizations it believed to have cooperated with Russia. Being a powerful country they can easily take these steps. But we do not have that power or capability, so we have not taken this step. But when the time comes, we will also go into action.

Many countries have been destroyed due to the intervention of foreigners. Momen said, you look at Afghanistan, they are suffering a lot because of foreigners. Chile was destroyed by foreigners. Think about Iran too. Foreigners actually always work in the interest of their country.

He said that developed countries do not pay even a single penny to foreign ambassadors and said that it has become a policy in our country recently, it is very sad. They protest to foreigners. The condition of the country where they knowingly went to get drunk is not good. In developed countries, especially in America, no foreign ambassador cares a penny. Foreigners in India talk a lot but they don't care. Countries that have respect, respect for leadership, do not cry to foreigners.

Advising BNP not to approach foreigners on any issue. Momen said, I need to go to my countrymen in the villages instead of protesting to foreigners. If our opposition parties do not go to foreigners, it will be better for them and for the country.
