Dhaka, December 24: Bangladesh Tonima Tasnim Ananna has been named in the list of top 10 young scientist in the world by US-based Science News.

She was born in Narsingdi district of Bangladesh. Thanks to her father's job, she spent her childhood in the capital Dhaka. Her mother, a housewife, spent most of her time in the kitchen. Five-year-old Tonima was told a story by her mother about a spacecraft landing on Mars, which caught her attantion and she became interested in space thereafter.

Exactly two decades later, he painted a full picture of the rise of the mysterious black hole and its impact on the environment. And that's the bet! Tanima Tasneem Ananya has been placed in the list of top 10 scientists in the world. Ananna, 29, is now a potential astrophysicist.

Washington-based Science News of the United States has published the news of this success. The popular science-based media has placed Ananna at the beginning of the list of 'SN Ten: Scientist to Watch' published on September 30. Where Ananna’s work is referred to as ‘extraordinary research’.

Everyone on the list this year is 40 or younger. They have each been nominated by Nobel laureates.

According to a report published on the website of Science News, Bangladeshi Ananna has been able to draw the most detailed black hole so far. In illustrated research, he has shown where black holes are growing in the universe and how they are affecting the environment. She has accomplished this with the help of artificial intelligence.

Ananya said she decided to study astronomy because of her interest since childhood. However, she told his family that she was interested in going abroad as there was not much opportunity to study in Bangladesh. At first, her family refused to allow her to study abroad. However, Ananna's parents gave in to her interest.

When Ananya reached the age of 15 in 2006, she started the International General Certificate of Secondary Education course. The goal was to learn English and move abroad. Ananya also succeeded on that mission. She received the highest number and also got the highest marks in Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science. As a result, it was easy to study abroad on a scholarship. She then went to Cambridge University in the United Kingdom as a visiting student.

Ananya graduated from Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania, USA in 2013. She later earned a PhD in physics from Yale University. Tonima is currently a postdoctoral research fellow at Dartmouth College.
