Sheikh Hasina Be careful about Jamaat-BNP: Sheikh Hasina
Dhaka, 13 August 2023 : Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina has urged the countrymen to be careful about BNP-Jamaat alliance.
She said, "Countrymen should beware of BNP, murderers, corruptors, terrorists, militancy, people killers, grenade attackers, 10 truckloads of arms smugglers."
"They do not believe in democracy. They will not keep democracy in the country. They will push the country towards destruction again," Hasina said in her strong message given to people against the alliance.
She said these things in the opening speech of the Awami League Executive Parliament meeting at Ganobhaban on Saturday, August 12. Awami League president Sheikh Hasina presided over the meeting.

At the beginning of the meeting, a minute's silence was observed in memory of all those who died on the night of August 15.
The Prime Minister said, "BNP does not have the strength to deal with any disaster. They have never done it. Humans have been pushed into darkness, unable to show the way to light. Because there is Awami League, because the people have voted for the boat brand, we are able to serve them, the country is moving forward, it will move forward. No one can overtake this country."
Pointing out that there is no international power with BNP, the Prime Minister said, "Something with them...or do they get international power?" I want to know what power is (with them). There is no power with them. No one stays with the robbers."
