Biden describes Bangladesh as an important nation

Dhaka, June 26, 2022: US President Joe Biden has termed Bangladesh as an important country.

The US president made the remarks during a meeting with Bangladesh Ambassador to the United States M Shahidul Islam at the White House on Friday (June 24). The Ambassador also invited President Joe Biden to visit Bangladesh on behalf of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Biden said Bangladesh is an important country. Meanwhile, Bangladesh's ambassador to the United States said he was honored to meet the US president at the White House.

Bangladesh and the United States have held several bilateral meetings this year to strengthen ties in the face of various challenges.
