Dhaka, October 26: Awami League General Secretary and Minister for Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader has said that the BNP is daydreaming about another One-Eleven in Bangladesh.

"The BNP wants to come to power, but not through ballots, but in a different, undemocratic and backdoor way," he said. "The BNP is dreaming of another One-Eleven. I don't think such a situation will be created in this country anymore."

Obaidul Quader said this at a press conference held at his office in the Secretariat on Monday morning. Regarding the statement of BNP leaders that the BNP will not go to the polls under the Awami League, Obaidul Quader said that the statement of a responsible political party on the resolved issue is nothing but suicidal tendency.

On the question of participation in the elections, the BNP is still walking on the old gray path, he said, in fact, the election will not sit like time and current. The election will not be under the Awami League government, the election will be under the Election Commission.

Stating that the face of those who have taken rumors and propaganda as a political tactic has become clear to the people, the Road Transport Minister said that the BNP itself has fallen into its own trap. That is why they are now in both crises, unable to mobilize, unable to go to the polls.

He said, not Awami League, in fact BNP is now bankrupt. They are now depopulated. So they are afraid of elections and people laugh when they hear about their movement.

The BNP is based on conspiracies and rumors, they have no existence in the streets, the general secretary of the Awami League said, their existence is only on Facebook and online.

Obaidul Quader said that earlier in the case of enrollment, the party has been instructed to send the names without any kindness and greed and without hiding the information about the candidates.
