Dhaka, April 16: Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader has said that the BNP has now started propaganda about the lockdown after failing in its anti-vaccine policy. He also thinks that the BNP's double standards can discourage people from staying at home. Obaidul Quader wants to know - then does the BNP not want the infection to come under control?

Obaidul Quader made the remarks at a distribution of corona protection materials among several journalist organizations and religious organizations organized by the party's relief and social welfare sub-committee at the Awami League president's political office in Dhanmondi on Friday (April 16). Obaidul Quader virtually joined the ceremony from his official residence.

In response to BNP leaders saying that there is no democracy in the country, Obaidul Quader said, "What role has the BNP played in advancing democracy?" They have now turned into peddlers of democracy by practicing undemocratic by creating obstacles step by step. The Sheikh Hasina government does not interfere in any constitutional institution. The country's judiciary is now operating completely independently.

Referring to the BNP's institutionalization of democracy and corruption in this country, Obaidul Quader said, "The struggle to move forward on the path of democracy, development and prosperity of the country under the leadership of Bangabandhu's daughter Sheikh Hasina will be successful with the cooperation of people at all levels.

He said the BNP wants to keep the country moving forward from behind but it will not succeed because the people are now developing.

Obaidul Quader also thinks that the people have rejected the backward politics of BNP and stood for the politics of development and prosperous future of Sheikh Hasina.

Sheikh Hasina's government has already started providing necessary assistance to the helpless people, because Sheikh Hasina is involved in politics for the people, said Sheikh Hasina, the general secretary of the Awami League. And the beacon of dependence.

On the other hand, Obaidul Quader said that the BNP is not standing by the people and is making political statements about their helplessness, adding that they have lost the courage to stand by the people because they are afraid of the people.

Obaidul Quader said the government's goal is to make the country BNP-free. Regarding the allegations of BNP leaders, Obaidul Quader said, "The government wants the BNP to play the role of a responsible political party in the true sense of the word."

He expressed hope that the BNP would return to a positive political trend for the welfare of the people by giving up violence, conspiracy and malpractice.
