BNP Politics BNP has turned telling lies into an art: Obaidul Quader
Dhaka, October 15: Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader said, "BNP is blindly criticizing the government day and night, holding meetings and saying that they have no right to speak. Their falsehood defeats even outright lies. BNP has turned lying into an art." He said this during a briefing at his residence on Saturday (October 15).
Roads and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said, "Opposing India during elections and doing politics with religion are old tricks of BNP. BNP is a political party that is all about rumours, Goebbelsian lies are their only tool. These tactics of BNP have now become blunt tools." The General Secretary of Awami League said, "BNP now uses religion card, not Awami League."
Obaidul Quader also alleged that the call to impose sanctions against the government is a sign of BNP's ineffectual politics.
He said, "Minimum commitment to the country and the people of the country cannot be spoken by any responsible political party."
Quader believes that it is an attempt to provoke a foreign country with the nefarious intention of imposing sanctions against Bangladesh.
Pointing out that "BNP's politics is like cutting a canal and bringing crocodiles", he said, "They kept the country undemocratic behind the mask of democracy. Now they want to walk on that path again."
One of the top leaders of Awami League also alleged that BNP wants to de-democratize the country, turn it into a town of terror-anarchy and spread the poison of communal politics.
