BNP is carrying out various activities to destroy the stability of the country: Obaidul Quader

"We had earlier feared that a conspiracy was being hatched to heat up the campuses. The parasitic movement-dependent BNP has continued its various activities to destroy the existing stable situation in the country. The BNP is carrying out supernatural activities with the communal monsters," Quader said on Monday.

"The BNP is playing dirty politics to destabilize the campus on the pretext that students and teachers are preparing to take the educational activities forward by cutting the damage caused by the coronavirus," he said. "In the politics of this country, not the Sheikh Hasina government, the BNP is the real monstrous force."

He said, "Sheikh Hasina and Awami League have brought economic liberation to the people, while the BNP had brought chain of dependence."

Speaking about Chandrima Udyan, he said, "Recently, the police in Chandrima Udyan wanted to co-operate with the BNP in carrying out its program, but they wanted to politicise it through clashes without heeding any law and order. The Awami League believes in peaceful programs. The government has always been in favour of peaceful programs and has been cooperating in peaceful programs, and will continue to do so in the future. But if elements of terrorism and anarchy are added to the program, law enforcement agencies have to take action in the public interest."

The movement no longer has any objective. People have been watching the subjective preparation of BNP for the last one era. The BNP is dreaming of overthrowing the government.

The BNP secretary general never answered any question about Ziaur Rahman's body. Obaidul Quader said that Ziaur Rahman's body was carried on his shoulder by General Ershad. "With such an answer, Mr. Fakhrul tried to cover-up the issue. Ershad carried the coffin but he never mentioned that Zia's body was inside."
