Foreign Minister BNP-Jamaat become friends of Israel: Foreign Minister
Dhaka, March 28: Foreign Minister and Joint General Secretary of Awami League Dr. Hasan Mahmud said that there are protests against the killings in Gaza all over the world and BNP-Jamaat has not uttered a single word against the killings. They have become friends of Israel, they must be identified.
He said this while speaking as the chief guest at the Iftar organized by Islamic Front Bangladesh at a hotel in Paltan of the capital on Wednesday evening.
The foreign minister said that more than 32,000 people have been killed in Gaza by Israeli forces. Most of them are children and women. People protested against this killing in many places of the world including London, Washington, Sydney and even in Israel's Tel Aviv. But the BNP-Jamaat has not uttered a single word against Israel in its desire to come to power, for fear of displeasing any major power. That is, they have become friends of Israel today.
The minister said that BNP-Jamaat thought that a big country would put them in power by feeding them feeders, but it did not happen. In imitation of the Israeli army, they attacked the police hospital in Dhaka. And now they walk. Distributes leaflets on foot. Let them do it, but let them not commit arson as before, then the people will teach them the right lesson.
Highlighting the government's contribution to the welfare of Islam, Hashan Mahmud said that no other government has done what Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina has done for the welfare of Islam and Muslim society. Acknowledgment of Qoumi Madrasas, beautiful mosques in every upazila, Maktabs with teachers, respect and welfare of scholars was done by the Awami League government.
