BNP BNP's central leader and Bhasabi Fashions' owner Zaman arrested
Dhaka, Dec 29: BNP central leader and owner of Bhasabi Fashions Kamal Zaman Mollah has been arrested by Dhaka Metropolitan Detective (DB) Police. There is a case against him for sabotage and assault on the police.
He was arrested in a raid in the capital on Thursday night. DB Additional Commissioner of Police Mohammad Haroon Or Rasheed confirmed the matter.
He said that there is a case against Zaman, the owner of Bhasabi Fashions, the central leader of BNP, for sabotage and assault on the police. After the case, he is hiding in different areas. Later, based on intelligence information, he was arrested on Thursday night. Meanwhile, on Wednesday night, DB arrested 11 people including Dhaka University Chhatra Dal president Khorshed Alam Sohail and Krishak Dal joint convener Mehdi Hasan Palash on charges of sabotage including bomb-making equipment, fresh bombs, gun powder.
