The next day, on July 19, the party will hold a march programme only in Dhaka.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced this program from the rally organized in Nayapaltan of the capital on Wednesday.

He said, "We are announcing one-point demanding resignation of the fascist, authoritarian government that took away the people's voting rights, declared the dissolution of the National Assembly, reconstitution of the Election Commission (EC), release of all prisoners including BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, withdrawal of false cases against BNP leaders and activists including Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, and announcement of a one-step economic release of the people."

He said this programme will be held from Gabtali to Jatrabari on July 18 from 10 am to 4 pm. Similarly, on this day, the same programme will be conducted at the metropolitan, district and upazila levels across the country. The next day on July 19, a march program will be held from Abdullahpur to Bahadurshah Park in Dhaka.

Fakhrul said, "I announced this programme. Before doing the program on that day, he will accept the demands and return the caretaker government, resign and leave. If you don't leave, then more programs are coming. The people will be removed from power with a strict programme."

BNP Secretary General said, "Today's one-phase movement was announced not by Mirza Fakhrul, but by Tarique Rahman, the leader of the young generation. An announcement for the 18 crore people of the country, who are looking for democracy."
