Dhaka, November 18: Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has said that the BNP is conspiring to come to power riding on the shoulders of communal evil forces.
He said, "They (BNP) are now disguising as democratic. Therefore, we must be united against the racist BNP's misdeeds. The BNP is conspiring to come to power on the shoulders of communal evil forces."
Obaidul Quader said this while virtually joining the triennial conference of Singra Upazila Awami League of Natore district on Wednesday. The general secretary of Awami League said that the life and security of 170 million people of the country is not safe in the hands of BNP.
Obaidul Quader said that huge investments are being made in various conspiracies against the government and the country and planned lies are being spread to destroy communal harmony. "Those who are carrying out these misdeeds will not succeed, yet we all have to be careful."
Strict organizational measures will be taken if the names of the miscreants are sent to the center by removing the names of the workers who have resigned in the union council elections.
He said a list of those who were working against the party's candidates and inciting the rebel candidates was being compiled and organizational measures would be taken in due course.
The general secretary of the Awami League said, "Everyone should work for the party unitedly without abandoning the ideology of the party and embracing the ideology of Sheikh Hasina." In any case, the Awami League must remain united, no work can be done to tarnish the development of the government.
