Dhaka, June 30: Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader said, "BNP will always create trouble. They will decide to participate in the election themselves. That too may be in the end."

Obaidul Quader said, ‘They (BNP) said a lot, in the end they came to the real thing. In a word, the BNP has the right to participate in the elections. Not to give the government a chance or to distribute relief. BNP has the right to take part in the election. If they believe in democracy as a party, they will definitely come to the polls. That's what we believe. "

The Awami League delegation took part in an exchange of views on the EVM with the Election Commission at the Election Building in the capital's Agargaon on Tuesday (June 26). After the exchange of views, Obaidul Quader said this in response to the question of the journalists.

The general secretary of the Awami League said, "I have said before that I believe the BNP will come to the polls in the end. We also want the BNP to come, to have a competitive election. We don't want a big party like BNP to be out of the polls."

Obaidul Quader said, "As a team, we are going to say. I also invited them to inaugurate the Padma Bridge. You see, the Awami League has a positive attitude in this regard. 'He said, "You see, everyone says one thing, elections are under the government. I was surprised to hear that Mr. Fakhrul also said that he would not go to the polls under this government. Elections will not be held under this government. The election will be under the Election Commission. The government will provide the support it needs in a credible, fair and free election."

In response to another question from reporters, he said, "It is up to the President to decide what to do. He may have done so on the advice of the Prime Minister. It may be the rule, so I have no jurisdiction."

The general secretary of the Awami League said, "The election commission is calling for political dialogue. We will come there. And in this regard, our 'Stand Clear and Lauder'. We are repeating the same claim as we said last time. We want these proposals to be accepted. We are very clear about EVMs. I sincerely want to vote in EVM in 300 seats. We have no objection to this."
