Candlelight vigil held to mark 8th anniversary of enclaves exchange between Bangladesh and India
Dhaka, August 1: A group of progressive Bangladeshi NGOs, including Uddipan, North Bengal Museum and BSCSS, has in association with some Indian representatives and local district administration officials from Rangpur and Kurigram organised a candlelight vigil on Monday (July 31) to mark the 8th anniversary of the landmark event of exchange of enclaves between India and Bangladesh.
People from all walks of life gathered in 111 enclaves which are now in Bangladesh on 31st night.

The Land Boundary Agreement of 2015 resolved a long pending issue of enclaves in adverse possession of India and Bangladesh.
