According to Bangladesh Meteorological Department, 53 millimeters of rain fell in Dhaka in the last 24 hours from 6 am on Tuesday to 6 am on Wednesday. Forty-four to 88 mm of rain is called heavy rainfall.

It is reported that heavy to very heavy rains are falling in almost the entire country including the southern part of the country since Tuesday. It has rained throughout the day on Wednesday, including Dhaka. According to the Meteorological Department, the trend of rain may reduce from Thursday.

The weather forecast for Dhaka and surrounding areas for the next 6 hours from 7 am on Wednesday said that the sky may remain cloudy to overcast. Light to moderate rain or thundershowers may occur during this time. The daytime temperature may remain almost unchanged.
