Chances of rainfall to increase in Bangladesh after two days

The amount of rain that is falling is also small. However, after the next two days, the trend of rain may increase across the country, said the Meteorological Department.

Rajshahi and Mymensingh divisions were completely rainless on Friday. Sprinkling of rain has occurred at most places. From 6 am on Friday to 6 am on Saturday, the highest rainfall in the last 24 hours was 13 mm in Chandpur.

After being rainless for two days, Dhaka's sky is partly cloudy since Saturday morning. Suddenly the sky is covered with clouds, and the sun breaks through the clouds. It has also been drizzling for a short time in some parts of the capital since morning.

Local warning signal No. 3 was issued at four seaports in the country on Friday due to the threat of gale force winds. However, the warning signal has been lifted since Saturday morning, said the Meteorological Department.

The Meteorological Department said on Saturday morning that the low pressure over North West Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas is currently over Jharkhand and adjoining North Odisha and adjoining areas. Monsoon axis extends over Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, low pressure center, Gangetic West Bengal and southern Bangladesh to Assam. Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay of Bengal.

Highlighting the weather forecast for the next 24 hours from 9 am on Saturday, meteorologist Md. Manowar Hossain said that light to moderate rain with gusty winds will occur temporarily in some places of Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and in two places of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Dhaka divisions. Or there may be rain with thunder. Along with this, there may be moderate heavy rainfall in some parts of the country. Day and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country during this time. In the forecast for the next three days, he said, the trend of rainfall may increase towards the end of this period (after two days).

On Saturday, the highest temperature in the country was 35.8 degrees Celsius in Sayedpur. And the maximum temperature in Dhaka is 34.4 degrees Celsius.
