Own Correspondent, Dhaka, August 16: Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni, in response to a question from journalists at Chandpur Circuit House on Monday (August 15), said, "I want to rearrange the classes five days a week in such a way that the students do not lack learning. Plans are also finalized to address the identified learning deficits of students."

The Education Minister said, "From next year, the week will be five days in the new curriculum. Due to the current energy crisis in the world and the initiatives taken to save electricity, if classes are held five days a week from now on in our various educational institutions, then the number of vehicles used for the transportation of students, especially in cities, and the amount of electricity used in educational institutions will be saved. So we have a decision to make. But we want to rearrange the classes of the educational institution within these five days. So that the students do not have any kind of problem."

Additional Deputy Commissioner Bashir Ahmed, Additional Superintendent of Police Sudipta Roy, Mayor of Chandpur Municipality Md. Zillur Rahman Jewel, Vice Chairman of Sadar Upazila Parishad Ayub Ali Bepari along with leaders of Awami League, Jubo League, Chhatra League, and affiliated organizations were present.
