Own Correspondent, Dhaka, May 28: Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud said the Prime Minister had given the opportunity to stay home from jail by showing sympathy to the convicted Begum Khaleda Zia. But after hearing the statements of BNP leaders and activists, it is being considered to send her back to jail.

He said this while speaking to the media on Friday (May 27) evening while attending a recitation festival at the Cox's Bazar Cultural Center.

The minister said the BNP was trying to create chaos across the country. They created chaos in Dhaka University with outsiders. Gathered in front of the country's highest court with foreigners and terrorists. Behind them is the hand of their acting chairman Tarique Rahman. Tarique is calling different places and giving instructions to create chaos in the whole country. The leaders and workers of our party will work with the people to maintain peace and order in the country.

Hasan Mahmud said that the BNP was trying to create anarchy in the country again under the direction of Tarique Rahman as the promises given by the Awami League government are being implemented one by one. That is why the terrorists who are lurking in front of Dhaka University and the Supreme Court are trying to create anarchy. Tarique Rahman himself is a convicted accused. The government is looking into how to bring him back to the country.

He said BNP leaders are no longer opening their mouths after lying about Padma Setu (bridge). Because their lies have been exposed. So they are looking for new conspiracy traps.

Cox's Bazar Sadar Ramu MP Saimum Sarwar Kamal, Professor Dr. Anupam Sen, Deputy Commissioner Md. Mamunur Rashid, District Awami League General Secretary and Municipal Mayor Mujibur Rahman, Director General of Bangla Academy Muhammad Nurul Huda and Jayanta Chattopadhyay were present there.
