The notification issued on Thursday by the Solicitor (GP/PP Branch) Division of the Law and Justice Department of the Law Ministry was released on Friday releasing him.

The notification signed by Solicitor Runa Nahid Akhtar said, "According to Article 4(1) of The Bangladesh Law Officers Order, 1972, the appointment of Deputy Attorney General Imran Ahmed Bhuiyan has been canceled in public interest and he has been relieved from the post of Deputy Attorney General."

Supreme Court lawyer and Deputy Attorney General Imran Ahmed Bhuiyan stood in favor of the open letter given to the Prime Minister by 160 world leaders including former US President Barack Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to suspend the trial process of Nobel laureate Dr. Muhammad Yunus. In this regard, if the Attorney General's office decided to make a counter statement against Dr. Yunus, he said that he would not sign it.

Imran Ahmed told reporters on Monday, September 4, "Yesterday, the decision of the Attorney General's office to issue a counter statement against Dr. Yunus was informed in a WhatsApp group. It was asked to sign the statement by 4 pm on Monday. However, I personally decided not to sign it." taken. I do not agree to sign."

He said, "I think the statements and counter-statements being made about Dr. Yunus are unnecessary. The cases against him could have been dealt with differently. It seems that this is being done to keep him under pressure. He is only an honor for Bangladesh. Not only that, but he is the wealth of the whole world."

Law Minister Anisul Haque commented that Deputy Attorney General Emran Ahmad Bhuiyan has broken discipline.
