Covid-19 Coronavirus: 17 deaths within 24 hours, 528 infected
Dhaka, January 28: Coronavirus (Covid-19) has killed 17 more people across the country within 24 hours in between Tuesday and Wednesday. Among them 8 are men and 9 are women. All of them died at the hospital.
With this, the number of deaths due to this pandemic in the country increased to 8,072.
During this period, 528 more people were newly diagnosed with coronavirus. The total number of identified patients in the country rose to 5,33,444, according to an official press release.
In the last 24 hours, 15,932 samples were collected and 15,720 samples were tested in 200 laboratories across the country. A total of 36,00,508 samples have been tested so far.
Meanwhile, 509 people have recovered in the last 24 hours till noon on Wednesday in different hospitals and homes of the country, including the capital. So far, a total of 4,77,935 people have recovered.
