Coronavirus Coronavirus: 220 new cases, two deaths across country on Saturday
Dhaka, August 6: Bangladesh reported another two coronavirus deaths between Friday and Saturday, taking the country death toll from the virus to 29,304.
Between August 5 and 6, 220 people tested positive for the virus. Bangladesh's Covid caseload stands at 20,07,119.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), 545 people recovered from the disease between Friday and Saturday. So far, a total of 19,47,307.
The daily infection rate was 5.56 percent, while the overall detection rate stands at 13.71 percent.
The recovery rate stands at 97,02 percent.
Bangladesh's death rate from Covid currently stands at 1.46 percent.
