Coronavirus: 421 new cases on a deathless day, infection rate increases to nine percent on Monday

Dhaka, September 12: No patient died of coronavirus in the country from 8 am on Sunday to 8 am on Monday. As a result, the number of deaths due to the virus in the country stands at 29,334.

At the same time, 421 new patients were identified. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the total number of confirmed cases in the country has increased to 20,15,308.

The daily detection rate was 9.23 percent compared to 24-hour sample testing.

In the last 24 hours, 4,564 samples were collected and 4,560 samples were tested in 881 laboratories across the country. So far 1,47,99,425 samples have been tested. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the total detection rate stands at 13.62 percent.

Meanwhile, 291 people recovered from the affected patients in 24 hours from 8 am on Sunday to 8 am on Monday. A total of 19,59,037 people have recovered.
