Coronavirus Coronavirus: Daily caseload jumps to 1,135, one die on Wednesday
Dhaka, June 22: Bangladesh reported one death and 1,135 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, between Tuesday and Wednesday.
The daily detection rate also increased to 13.30 percent.
According to the DGHS, 8,536 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.
So far, the country has tested a total of 1,42,49,792 samples, while 19,59,209 people have tested positive for the disease. The overall detection rate stands at 13.75 percent.
A total of 29,134 people have died in the country. The death toll stands at 1.49 percent.
In the last 24 hours, 122 people have recovered from the disease in Bangladesh, taking the recovery toll to 19,06,105. The recovery rate stands at 97.29 percent.
