Coronavirus: One dead, 35 new cases registered across Bangladesh on Wednesday

Dhaka, November 16: One person died in 24 hours from Tuesday 8 am to Wednesday 8 am across the country due to the coronavirus. With this, the death in the country has increased to 29,430 people.

During this time, 35 people have been diagnosed with Covid. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the total number of confirmed cases in the country has increased to 20,36,268 people.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) 3,319 samples were collected in 883 labs running across the country in the aforementioned 24 hours. A total of 3,324 samples were tested. The daily detection rate against testing was 1.05 percent.

So far the total detection rate is 13.52 percent.

Meanwhile, 116 people have recovered from the infectious coronavirus between Tuesday and Wednesday. So far 19,84,124 people have recovered.
