Covid-19 Covid-19: 26 people succumb to deadly virus in a day
Dhaka, September 21, 2020: In 24 hours, 26 people have died of Covid-19 in the country. At least 2,189 people have recovered. Six people died less on Sunday than on Saturday. Thirty-two people died on Saturday. So far, 4,939 people have died of the virus in the country.
According to a press release signed by Nasima Sultana, Additional Director General of the Department (Administration), 2,179 people have recovered from coronavirus in the last 24 hours at hospital and home.
One hundred and twenty eight more people have recovered than yesterday. So far 257,575 people have recovered.
According to the notification, in the last 24 hours till Sunday, samples of 11,791 people have been tested and coronavirus has been detected in the bodies of 1,544 people.
So far, coronavirus has been detected in the bodies of 346,917 people in a sample test of 1,621,280 people in the country. Considering the total test, the detection rate is 19.17 percent. Till yesterday this rate was 19.20 percent.
