Dhaka, October 29: Twenty-five more people have died of coronavirus in a single day in the country, and 1,681 new cases have been identified, an official release said. It is said that the total number of people infected with coronavirus in the country is 4,04,760 people with 1,681 people identified till 8 am.

And with 25 people dying in the last one day, the total number of deaths from coronavirus in the country stood at 5,886.

According to the Department of Health, another 1,548 patients undergoing treatment at home and in the hospital have recovered in the last one day. The total number of healthy patients has increased to 3,21,281 people.

The first case of coronavirus was detected in Bangladesh on March 7, and it crossed 4,00,000 on October 26.

Of these, 4,019 Covid-19 patients were identified on July 2, which is the highest in a single day.

On March 18, 10 days after the first patient was identified, the Department of Health confirmed the first death report in the country. On October 10, it stood at 5,500. Of these, 64 deaths were reported in a single day on June 30, the highest death toll in a single day.

The number of identified patients in the world so far has exceeded 44.5 million; The death toll has reached 1.17 million.
