Covid-19 Covid-19 claims another 23 lives within 24 hours
Dhaka, October 10: The deadly novel coronavirus has claime another 23 lives within 24 hours, pushing the death toll to 5,500.
Among the deceased are 15 men and eight women.
According to official figures, a total of 10,673 samples were collected in 109 laboratories during the aforementioned period.
At least 1,203 new cases have been identified in between Friday and Saturday.
The total number of positive cases now stands at 377,073.
Bangladesh has tested 2,061,528 people so far.
In the last 24 hours, 1,453 people have recovered, taking the toll to 291,365.
So far, 4,237 men have died, while the total number of women stands at 1,263.
